Camera access is used for the scanning feature. VI Deals does not require continuous camera access after scanning has ended.

3. Location Use and Background Location

VI Deals requests location permission because location-based features are part of the application's local shopping functionality.

Foreground location may be used when you are actively using features that require your location.

If you choose to enable background location, VI Deals may access location information when the application is closed or not actively in use for the purpose of detecting proximity to participating businesses and supporting location-based notifications.

VI Deals does not use background location solely for advertising or analytics.

We collect or access only the location information reasonably necessary to provide enabled location features.

VI Deals may request permission to send notifications.

Cached information may become outdated.
